Can't sign in

What to try when sign-in does not work on the web, the Mac, or iPhone.

Updated

Use the same sign-in as the first time

You can sign in with Apple, Google, GitHub, or a code sent to your email. Every app shows the same choices. Use the one you used the first time, so you reach the same account and workspace.

Little Worker never asks for your password for any of them.

A code sent by email

  • A code works for 10 minutes. If it has expired, click Send New Code.
  • If the code is not right, check the email and enter the newest code.
  • After too many codes or wrong tries for one address, sign-in waits. Try again in an hour.
  • If you typed the wrong address, choose Use a Different Email.

Apple, Google or GitHub on the Mac

These open in your browser, and the Mac app goes on by itself when you finish.

  • If you closed the browser, click Open Browser Again.
  • If the app says "Sign-in was cancelled.", click Try Again.
  • If the app could not open your browser, click Try Again.

A message about the connection

If the app says the sign-in service or your workspace is not answering, check your internet connection, then try again. If it says your workspace is starting or not ready yet, wait a moment and try again.

On iPhone, "Little Worker is not reachable. Check your connection and try again." means the same.

Your sign-in ended

"Your sign-in ended. Sign in again to go on where you left off." means you need to sign in once more. Your work is still there.

You no longer have access

If the app says "You no longer have access to" a workspace, an owner removed you from it, or it was deleted. Your other workspaces still open. Ask the workspace's owner to invite you again.

Still stuck

Email support@thelittleworker.com with the address you sign in with and what you see on the screen.
