Who can give work

A message becomes a to-do only when it comes from someone who:

• is an active member of your Little Worker workspace, and
• has linked their Discord account.

Everyone else's messages are passed over without a reply. So are messages from other Discord apps and Discord's own notices. Apps > Discord lists everyone who can give work under People Who Can Give Work.

Who can set it up

Only an owner or an admin of the workspace can add Lou Tag to a server, pick the channel and the worker, change the server or remove it. Every member can link or unlink their own Discord account.

When a worker asks first

Some steps need a yes before the worker does them. When that happens, the worker posts a card in the thread that starts with "Allow this?" and says what it wants to do.

• For a step that can be undone, the card has Allow and Not Now.
• For sending, paying, posting, deleting and other steps that cannot be undone, the card says "Answer this one in Little Worker." Open the chat with Open in Little Worker and answer there.

Who can answer a card

Only the person who started the to-do can answer its card. Someone else who presses Allow or Not Now gets a note only they can see, and nothing changes.

Someone who has not linked their Discord account sees "Only members who linked their Discord in Little Worker can answer here. Nothing changed."

After an answer, the card says "Allowed by" or "Not now, said" with the name of the person who answered. A card that was already answered says "This was already answered."

How long a to-do waits

A message is taken within about 15 minutes of being written. If Little Worker cannot take it in that time, for example while Little Worker is down, the message is passed over. Write it again to give the work.

A worker has up to 24 hours to answer in the thread. After that, the answer stays in the chat in Little Worker but is not posted to Discord.
