Your own AI or a subscription

Workers need AI to work, and you can bring your own AI account for free or get Little Worker AI with a subscription.

Two ways to pay for the AI

Every to-do a worker does takes AI. There are two ways to pay for it.

Your own AI. Connect a key from an AI account you already have. That company bills you directly for the work, and Little Worker charges nothing for it. This is how Free works.

Little Worker AI. It comes with a paid subscription. There is nothing to paste and nothing to set up.

You can see which one your workspace uses in Settings > AI Access.

Free

Free uses your own AI. It does not include Little Worker AI, so to work on Free you need an account with an AI company and a key from it. Add the key in Settings > AI Access.

Work on your own AI does not count toward any limit in Little Worker.

A subscription

A paid subscription includes Little Worker AI, counted in work units each month. An everyday result is 1 work unit, and heavier work counts more. Every try counts, so a to-do you send back counts again.

When the included work is used up, work uses any work you added, then stops. Nothing is charged on top without your permission. You get a notice before you reach the end.

To see how much of your month is used, open Settings > Cost on the web, or Settings on your iPhone.

Pricing lists every subscription, its price and what it includes.

Change or cancel a subscription

  1. On the web, open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings.
  2. Choose Subscription.
  3. Choose a bigger subscription, or cancel.

Canceling stops future charges. A canceled subscription lasts until the end of the month you paid for. On the Mac, the same details are in Settings > Cost and Subscription.

Set your own limit

In Settings > Cost, set a monthly limit of your own. Work stops there until you raise it or the month starts over.
